Preparing for Carpet Cleaning

We get asked this question a lot. Clients want to be helpful and have us get finished quickly so they can move on to the next item on their to-do list. These things are super simple and extremely helpful.

Clear the Driveway

Driveways are typically not the widest and with a few cars and maybe an RV it can get a little cramped. Which is why we ask that you leave ample room closest to your front door for us to park. It makes setting up easier and more efficient. Meaning we can get your carpets cleaner, faster.

Vacuum Thoroughly

A quick vacuum of exposed edges and traffic areas helps your house get back to normal faster. Vacuuming prior to our arrival not only saves you money but speeds up the cleaning process.

Move Light Furniture

If you are able, place side tables and lamps in a safe place on a hard surface both to protect them but also allow us to clean more of your rooms. Also, if you have small breakable items, our picture frames in tight areas, we recommend putting those in a safe place too. We never intend to break things but helping us by removing them from the cleaning area makes for an accident-free work environment.

Put Pets Away

As we will be driving on to your property and running loud equipment, we ask that you put pets in a safe and secure area regardless of if they are friendly or not. This is for the safety of your pets as well as our technicians. Not to mention that the noise from our machine may startle your pets.
